This year alone, with your support, we’ve extended critical rights to millions of workers and families, defended hard-won progress, and assisted thousands of workers in exercising their rights under the law.

Read on for ten 2025 victories for working families you should know about:

  1. We won new paid leave rights for state employees across the South, including in Mississippi, Alabama, Kentucky, and Tennessee.

  1. We played a pivotal role in state supreme court decisions upholding paid leave laws in Michigan and Maine.

  2. New York City and Pittsburgh both expanded their paid sick time laws to better meet the needs of workers.
  1. We filed a total of 10 new legal cases on behalf of workers and students this year, fighting to secure relief for our clients and force large, serial violator corporations like Amazon and Speedway to change their policies.
  1. We filed a major class-action lawsuit on behalf of disabled Amazon workers, seeking justice for thousands of hourly warehouse workers across New York State.
  1. We supported thousands of workers in exercising their rights with our free and confidential legal helpline and digital know-your-rights resources.

As we enter 2026, we will continue to build upon these wins; together, we will stand strong against attempts to trample on democracy, women’s health, and workers’ rights as we keep fighting to make life more affordable and healthy for millions of families and elevate workplace issues to the forefront of the national political conversation.
