On Monday, February 6th from 1:00-2:30 PM EST, we were proud to join Department of Labor Secretary Marty Walsh, Deputy Secretary Julie Su, Representative Rosa DeLauro, Representative Lauren Underwood, the Second Gentleman, and fellow workers’ rights advocates at a recent event in D.C. celebrating the 30th anniversary of the passage of the landmark Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA). Participants gathered to celebrate the law’s successes, honor FMLA champions, and look ahead at ways to ensure workers can access leave – particularly paid leave – when they need it.
