Nicole joined A Better Balance’s board in 2022 and has maintained an active role on the finance committee. Professionally, Nicole currently leads SMBC’s enterprise valuation practice of the structured debt vertical including the Project Finance and Latin American Corporates franchises. Prior to SMBC, Nicole worked at Credit Suisse within the Enterprise Valuation Group covering the leveraged finance business. Nicole has also held project finance credit underwriting positions at Rabobank and Fitch Ratings. She earned an MBA from NYU Stern and has an undergraduate degree from Stonehill College. Nicole is a mother of two and understands firsthand the need to balance the fine line of motherhood/caretaking and professionalism.
