Moriah Engelberg joined A Better Balance in June 2023 as an Organizer for Campaign to Improve Disability Benefits in New York. Raised in New Jersey (mostly) Moriah ventured west and attended Pitzer College where she studied American Studies and Spanish. Before joining ABB Moriah worked in social services as a case worker and played an integral role as a union organizer. She is currently getting her MSW/MPH from Rutgers University. Moriah is very excited to work with ABB to improve disability benefits for New Yorkers and to continue to fight for workers’ rights and safety.
