Alexander Davis is a nonprofit executive, campaign strategist, and advancement professional serving as the Vice President of Development for A Better Balance. Over the past decade-plus, Davis has led transformational efforts with startup, emerging, and established progressive organizations and campaigns. He has built and scaled contributed and earned revenue streams while nurturing and leading teams, creating dynamic partnerships with private and public institutions, educating and cultivating funders, exceeding ambitious goals, managing tight budgets, and delivering results in increasingly challenging fundraising environments. He has raised millions of dollars for nonprofits in the social justice, LGBTQ+, arts and culture, veterans service, global youth, and senior services sectors as a staffer, board member, consultant, and volunteer.
Alexander grew up in northern New Jersey before moving to Washington, DC, where he completed his bachelor’s and master’s degrees at The George Washington University. He and his husband Chase now live in Columbus, Ohio with their son Liam and dogs Oliver and Winston. Alex is a very proud dad and uncle, an avid New York Mets fan, and has played competitive ultimate frisbee since high school.
