Direct Care Workers’ Rights

In 2013, The Department of Labor issued the Home Care Final Rule to extend minimum wage and overtime protections to almost 2 million home care workers. A Better Balance supported this change of policy, which has since been upheld by the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit and went into effect in 2015. Our comment and letter of support are below.
