A member of A Better Balance’s staff since 2019, Cassandra works nationwide at the local, state, and federal levels to advance inclusive paid sick leave, paid family and medical leave, and emergency paid leave measures. She also leads A Better Balance’s family recognition work to ensure that workers can take time off of work to care for all of their closest loved ones, regardless of legal or biological relationship. Cassandra is a proud graduate of Boston University and Northeastern University School of Law, where she served as a Senior Staffer for the Northeastern University Law Review and Treasurer for the Latin American Law Student Association.
