On Thursday May 5th at 7:00 PM EST, we will be joining our partners at 9to5 Georgia and the GA Coalition for Paid Leave for an event celebrating the one year anniversary of the signing of HB 146, Georgia’s 3 week paid parental leave law for state and public school employees. We will share information about how the law has impacted Georgia families, including hearing directly from an employee who used the benefit. We’ll also discuss how we can continue building on this progress by expanding paid leave to more Georgia families, so that no one has to choose between caring for their loved ones and paying their bills.
