Denver Paid Sick Time

Disappointing News from Denver. Corporate lobbyists spend a significant amount of money to defeat a Denver ballot initative that would have provided paid sick time to 107,000 workers in the city.  Following the recent success of paid sick  time legislation in Connecticut, Seattle and Philadelphia, A Better Balance will continue to fight for laws that ensure that all  workers can take time off to care for themselves and sick family members.
